People I Miss SO DEARLY!

Vincent, oh man! I miss all our ice cream trips! I remember the very first time you promised me to bring me out for ice cream if I did well in my amath test. And thats how our wonderful brother-sister relationship started to blossom:) You never fail to look out for me, just like a real big brother, especially since Kelvin was away in Australia. You helped me with my studies, cheer me up when I am really moody and sad, listening to all my ranting and whining even though they are about the silliest things on earth! I miss our hangout...HOLLAND V-Starbucks and Swensens! Ahhh....Time flies...

Mark, my substitude boyfriend. WAHAHAHA...and of coz my MOVIE PARTNER! I remember those random conversations of, "Ooi! What are you doing now? Lets go Watch movie lar!" Goodness me, we had so much fun watching ALL KINDS of movies...from winnie the pooh to romantic comedies:) And of coz your ever patience helping me with chemistry, and you laughing at all my stupid careless calculation mistakes! Not forgetting our late night supper after worship prac, and how I will get so angry when you guys say I cant go, coz small girl have to go home. It has been a super fun two years hanging with you...

Cellkids, can you believe 5 years and passed! We have gone through countless ups and downs, silly fights and arguements but now we have all grown up. You guys always remind me of those teenage shows, were there is a group of bestfriends trying to get through with their teenage life. I think we can make a TV series with our daily lives. You guys have been such an amazing bunch, each of everyone of you have added spice to my life, and taught me something. I have grown to understand more about life. Our friendship means so much to me, and I hope distance WONT kill it, I thank God for placing you guys into my life:)

Little Saints, okay, I couldnt find a picture of all us in it. But I think 3 of you are the closest to me. Three of you have grown so much, and you guys never fail to make me smile and laugh at all your randoms jokes during cell group. And interesting point of view of life. Sadly I couldnt stay longer to get to know you guys a little bit better, but I hope you guys are still doing fine! Keep your cheerful and individual character, dont let the world influence you! Suddenly I feel like I have a lot of things to blog about, we'll just see how long the list goes:)

1. Soccer Craze!!

Sigh, why does the World Cup have to be during my exam period! Suddenly, I have a soccer craze, mainly because of the cute guys! Wahahha...and probably partial influence by my brother and of coz church friends as well. It has been really exciting, my favourite matches so far is Australia vs Japan and Australia vs Brazil. I am fully supporting Brazil! WoohOO! Go BRAZIL!

Due to a series of unfortunate events...I have decided to remove my list. And since we are nearing the finals and most of my favourite players are playing, i dont know how to support, thus I shall not show any favouritism...plus I think KAKA is cute! whaahha...

And for those who didnt know, Kaka's soccer boots states "I belong to Jesus" which i find it so cool! Thats the reason why he scored the first goal for brazil:):)

2. Inspiration of Church Planting
My church is currently focusing on missions month! Our aim is to plan 5 international churches and 10 new centres in Queensland in the next 5 years. Seems impossible to me, but all things are possible with GOD:) Anyway, the preacher was sharing about our church in Hope Newcastle was started up by a 17 year old girl, and that really inspired me and really hit me that we are NEVER too young to do God's work! And my pastor thinks I am on my way...doing a mini church planting...

3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KORKOR
We surprised him yesterday, but apparently he was kinda knew it. Oh wells, at we tried. And this is the super NICE cake that Chiayen jiejie made for korkor which I didnt get to taste:(

4. My MOST interesting night in Brisbane
About 10pm, my friends ask me out for supper, and they said we were going to eat tim sum, and I was SUPER happy, because you rarely get a chance to eat chinese food in Australia except for home cooking. So after supper, I was so happy and cheery, laughing in the car like crazy with all their stupid jokes. Out of the blue, my friend suggested we go somewhere, we had a couple of options - southbank (along the river), mount cotah (highest point to see the whole brisbane city), cemetery. Well I was definitely voting for the first two, but we silly fools decided to drive along the cemetery, it was THAT FREAKY. The SUPER SCARY part was when we decided to drive up this slope where we did not know where it was leading to! We just drove and drove, there didnt seem to be an end to it, and telling freaky stories in the car, I was totally spook out and just remained quiet! Finally, we got scared and decided to U-turn and head down for hot chocolate in the cold winter and just watch soccer. I started yawning so they decided to send the little girl home. HEH.

I spent my whole of last week studying with the uni students from my church, I never had so much fun studying before! Goodness me, we will studying in this room where everyone will start studying at 10am to 8pm, and everyone will get distracted by 5pm and go crazy! However, I must say its quite productive, because their exams are much earlier than mine, so they motivate me to study earlier!

Obsevertion made: On an average, students tend to eat at least 2 bars of chocolate per day while studying. This seems to be proving my hypothesis for psychology! Wahaha...

I spent almost my whole weekend with SK! It was great to meet my childhood friend again! I miss cellkids so much, and Sk is still as blur as ever, I guess somethings just dont change huh. We walked around the city, and bought cool shirts that have weird phrases! I almost got a tshirt that said: "If you want my peaches, shake my tree" But i thought it sounded kinda wrong, so...I didnt get it! hahaha...The next dat we went to southbank, where they had weekend markets and a fake beach! This time, I bought a tshirt for my sister's baby that states: "If you think I am cute, check out my aunty" and "I am too sexy for my nappy" hahaha...So funny!

WHAT A MIRICLE:)

From this week onwards, I have exactly 4 weeks to exams. I don't know what my feelings should be, scared? neverous? stressed? Well, I am pretty much focused and have my goals all planned out! Now all I need to do is MAKE IT HAPPEN! Everyone out there, just keep praying for me, I have 5 subjects, I aim for four "7"s (85 and above) and one "6" (75 and above). I really want to achieve that goal, I know its not impossible, I just need to work towards it! :)

Miricle has finally happened! After months of struggling with God, He has allowed it to come to pass. CAREGROUP in school has FINALLY started:) I was personally praying for 10 people to join the group, but praise God, we had 23 people! More than doubled! My original faith goal was 25 by the end of the year, I think we can increased that faith goal! Everything seems to be falling into place, that like how God showed me it would. It's so amazing to see how God works, such mysterious ways, ways that we as humans never expect!

Tomorrow is ministry fair, where we sign up for ministry that we wanna serve God in. Currently I am in reception and shekinah (dance and drama team). I would really like to serve in the kids ministry but I'll wait and see where God calls me to.

By the way, I've cut my hair!!!:) I kinda like it, its quite short, 1/3 of the length of my hair is gone! It's about shoulder length...
