HOLIDAYS HOLIDAYS HOLIDAYSTime really flies when your days are packed with activities. However, I think this holidays have been rather fulfilling, instead of me just rotting in front of my television and sleeping in. There is a BIG difference between school holidays here and in Singapore. Holidays in singapore are basically for us to catch up with work, meet up for projects and rush with holiday homework. Whereas here in Australia, is pure play and fun. I thought of what the objective of my holiday was...it just composes of two things - Doing the things I like and to exercise, as simple as that.
On monday, I met my sheperd for lunch and catching up and sharing about what we learnt during the conference. After that, I was motivated to run, so I run for about 2.5km, and I was panting like crazy. It really showed how unfit I was, I was breathing so hard as if my asthma was going to come up. So I decided to take Sarah's advice and go for walks instead of running, and it seems a lot more pleasent and good:) Went to watch superman at night, it wasnt as good as Xmen, but I still kinda enjoyed anyway!

I spent my tuesday and wednesday shopping! I was really satisfied with shopping on tuesday, went to watch another movie - the breakup, SWEET! Love it loads, romantic comedies are still the best option:)

After the movie, my friend and I decided to take a walk from Southbank to Chinatown along the brisbane river and had a nice long chat in addition to the beautiful city lights lit at night, really relaxing! Had yummy dinner and went home and stayed up all night to watch soccer. Had like only 2 hours of sleep and headed off to Gold Coast with my friends for more shopping! Wahaha...quite disappointed, didnt really get much there though. Came back, helped to baby sit my pastor's kids. Slept really early that night and set my alarm to watch soccer at 5am. The match was so boring that I fell asleep by half time.
One Litre of Tear:):) - MUST WATCHThursday...slept in till 10. Woke up, snuggle under my covers since its winter, watching a japanese drama serial - One Litre of Tears, HIGHLY RECOMMANDED:) It's about a 15 year old girl who suffers from a illness that cannot be cured and how she struggles to smile despite all the hardship she's going through:) I admire her bravery..After two episodes, I decided to go for a walk to regatta ferry terminal to do my Quiet Time along the brisbane river. It was great to spend time with God and His creation. Enjoyed both the light breeze and sunshine, but it was weird coz the moon was up by 2.30pm.
The bench I sit on for QT!After that I walk to the supermarket to get some snacks and household items, and walked all the way home. It felt like I have walked about 4km yesterday, Good exercise!;) Rested for a while, and brought the three kids out to watch a movie - Cars.
There was a couple of things I wanted to do during my holidays however I have yet to accomplish them yet...
1) Take a walk everyday
2) Write a series of short stories
3) Have a nice pinic with a group of friends
4) Try to finish reading the New Testiment
5) Watch the world cup finals with LOADS of people
Thats all for now, its time for a walk soon:)
