At the cross
I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's not greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can sepatate me now

If my people, who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face. Then will I hear from Heaven...forgive their sin and heal their land
-2 Chronicles 7:14

Long time since I have updated. Too much to say I will just summarise it in five words- parents, shopping, rest, fun, awesome:) I have decided to keep my entries short, as more people seem to read my blog when my entries are shorter. HAHA. Anyway, that song seems to keep replaying in my head. Lovely song...

Beyond Expectation

I really have to give God the full glory and honour for my semester one results. Had straight 7s. Yeah really happy, it was beyond what I expected and it really seemed beyond my capabilities. But God was really gracious granted me results more than I hoped for. Sadly, I have no one to celebrate with:( My friends are either back in their home countries, at hillsong conference, out watching a movie without me...plus korkor is having leaders meeting. So I am pretty much home alone sharing my joy with my computer...how sad! But oh wells...Praise GOD:D

HOLIDAYS HOLIDAYS HOLIDAYS

Time really flies when your days are packed with activities. However, I think this holidays have been rather fulfilling, instead of me just rotting in front of my television and sleeping in. There is a BIG difference between school holidays here and in Singapore. Holidays in singapore are basically for us to catch up with work, meet up for projects and rush with holiday homework. Whereas here in Australia, is pure play and fun. I thought of what the objective of my holiday was...it just composes of two things - Doing the things I like and to exercise, as simple as that.

On monday, I met my sheperd for lunch and catching up and sharing about what we learnt during the conference. After that, I was motivated to run, so I run for about 2.5km, and I was panting like crazy. It really showed how unfit I was, I was breathing so hard as if my asthma was going to come up. So I decided to take Sarah's advice and go for walks instead of running, and it seems a lot more pleasent and good:) Went to watch superman at night, it wasnt as good as Xmen, but I still kinda enjoyed anyway!

I spent my tuesday and wednesday shopping! I was really satisfied with shopping on tuesday, went to watch another movie - the breakup, SWEET! Love it loads, romantic comedies are still the best option:)Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting After the movie, my friend and I decided to take a walk from Southbank to Chinatown along the brisbane river and had a nice long chat in addition to the beautiful city lights lit at night, really relaxing! Had yummy dinner and went home and stayed up all night to watch soccer. Had like only 2 hours of sleep and headed off to Gold Coast with my friends for more shopping! Wahaha...quite disappointed, didnt really get much there though. Came back, helped to baby sit my pastor's kids. Slept really early that night and set my alarm to watch soccer at 5am. The match was so boring that I fell asleep by half time.

One Litre of Tear:):) - MUST WATCH

Thursday...slept in till 10. Woke up, snuggle under my covers since its winter, watching a japanese drama serial - One Litre of Tears, HIGHLY RECOMMANDED:) It's about a 15 year old girl who suffers from a illness that cannot be cured and how she struggles to smile despite all the hardship she's going through:) I admire her bravery..After two episodes, I decided to go for a walk to regatta ferry terminal to do my Quiet Time along the brisbane river. It was great to spend time with God and His creation. Enjoyed both the light breeze and sunshine, but it was weird coz the moon was up by 2.30pm.

The bench I sit on for QT!

After that I walk to the supermarket to get some snacks and household items, and walked all the way home. It felt like I have walked about 4km yesterday, Good exercise!;) Rested for a while, and brought the three kids out to watch a movie - Cars.

There was a couple of things I wanted to do during my holidays however I have yet to accomplish them yet...
1) Take a walk everyday
2) Write a series of short stories
3) Have a nice pinic with a group of friends
4) Try to finish reading the New Testiment
5) Watch the world cup finals with LOADS of people

Thats all for now, its time for a walk soon:)

Super Duper LONG entry - ENJOY!:)

Firstly, thank you Lord for seeing me through my exams. Some papers did not go as well, but Lord I surrender them to you for I have done my best:) I just pray I will be able to get the grades that I aimed for so that you may be glorified!

Second on the list is the pre-exam and post exam party! Heh, I think I am the only one who parties before exam, well thats because I have started studying since the university students have been studying and they had already finished their exams. So it was fun spending time with them and relaxing with nice BBQ food and playing UNO! Hehe...

Family Photo :P - Guess who's the mum and dad...hahahaha...

Group Picture:) Nice nice!

But a greater highlight is the POST EXAM PARTY! I cant remember if I mentioned if I mentioned that I was expecting 40 people and 3 salvation, but nooo...I did not see that and I was quite disappointed. However, on the day before the party, only 17 pple signed up but on the day itself 33 people came! Praise God for doubling the numbers and many were non-christians! And although we didnt have any salvations that night, but it was a stepping stone for some people and I could tell that their hearts were opened by the questions they raised:) Amazing how God works huh...
PS: Thank you committee for putting in the effort to organise despite us having exams! And not forgetting Korkor, Bong, Steven, George, Chiayen jiejie to help send people back! Really appreciate it!

Foundation CG and visitors - Post Exam Party:) Wheee....

Thirdly, for the past three days I was away at church conference titled: A Covenant Church. For one, I never the importantace of a Covenant Church until after this whole conference. Throughout this 3 days I learnt about God and His covenants, Covenant community in church, covenant relationships and covenant friend. Yeah its really amazing, till the extend I had information overload, too many things to remember! And also I made a covenant with God as well! Really excited to see what God has installed for me next! My favourite part was the covenant with friends and relationships because it seems the most applicable to me, and something I can really relate with and this will lead to building the family of God - Covenant Church. Well if I really go into every detail to every point Pastor David (Hope Bangkok) shared, that will be too many! Haha...this is just a brief overview:)

Finally...soccer:( How depressing that Brazil lost...It's alright, as long as France doesnt win! HAHA...I hope no france fans kill me!:P Oh wells...Pray really hard! Heh..Got a busy week ahead:) Yay, Shepherding tomorrow, I got a lot to tell my shepherd, cant wait!

Too Tired!

I've got so many things to blog about I dont know WHERE to start! I will just have to put them all in point form first and will explain more in my next enteries because I am so tired from just sleeping for four hours last night watching soccer and had to wake up for church conference today. Hehe...And I need to sleep NOW so I can wake up to watch BRAZIL and france later:)

1. Praise God that EXAMS are over!
2. Miricles happened during the post-exam party
3. Currently attending Church conference - A Convenant Church
4. Soccer updates and late night BBQs
5. The work that God has been doing in my life

Okay, thats all for now...I am going to sleep, but I will leave you guys with this song that spoke to me during conference today:) Loveloves..

From the Inside Out
A thousand times I've failed
Still Your mercy remains And should I stumble again
I'm caught in Your grace
Everlasting
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending
Your glory goes beyond all fame

Your will above all else
My purpose remains
The art of losing myself
In bringing You praise
Everlasting
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending
Your glory goes beyond all fame

In my heart and my soul
Lord I give You control
Consume me from the inside out
Lord let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love you from the inside out

Everlasting
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending
Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart
Is to bring You praise
From the inside out
Lord my soul cries out
